Last January, during the CES fair in Las Vegas, we were able to see some of the novelties that the Vizio brand was preparing for this 2020. Now, finally, the brand's televisions and sound bars have hit the market.

The first thing you should know is that Vizio refers to them as the 2021 line because they will be the protagonists of the next Christmas campaign and, in fact, because some models, such as the new OLED screens, will not reach the market for a few months.

V and M series TVs, however, are already available and if you are thinking of renewing your TV, it is a good time and there are highly recommended models.

The common feature of the new Vizio TVs is the new integrated SmartCast software, which is finally compatible with AppleTV's streaming service (compatibility will arrive with a software update this summer). The new televisions also have more powerful processors that will make moving around the menus faster and that will better treat the colors in the image.

V series

As in previous years, V-series televisions are the company's entry-level range. 4K displays between 40 and 75 inches in size with prices ranging from $ 229 to $ 799. They all have Dolby HDR and special modes for games.

The M Quantum Series

For a little more you can make the jump to the M series, which is the company's mid-range. The main difference compared to the V range is that they offer a backlight that can be controlled in 30 or 90 different areas. This achieves a better contrast and a much more impressive image. They are also much brighter televisions. They are available in sizes from 50 to 65 inches and prices range from $ 399.99 to $ 749.99.

The P Quantum series

At the top of the Vizio catalog is the P Quantum and Quantum X series, high-performance models that offer a better refresh rate and a more advanced backlight that can be controlled in up to 792 display areas on the most advanced model ( Quantum X). Prices range from $ 1,199.99 to $ 1,999.99 depending on size and features.

Some models of the Quantum X series will not arrive for a few months, and the same will happen with Vizio's first OLED screen, which as always will stand out in price compared to its competitors. The 55 ″ OLED screen will cost $ 1,299.

Note: The above prices reflect the price at the time of article posting.
