A man who crashed into a police motorcycle became the first case of the National Security Act charged with inciting others to split the country and commit terrorist acts

On the first July 1st return date of the entry into force of the National Security Act of the Hong Kong District, the FDC’s application for protest was opposed by the police, but a large number of people still participated in the demonstration on Hong Kong Island that day. The police finally arrested 370 people, including 6 men and 4 women suspected of violating the “Hong Kong The Ou Guoan Law, in which 5 men and 4 women have been granted bail pending investigation, must report to the police in late July. The 24-year-old male driver who drove the motorcycle to the police line of defense was formally charged this afternoon for violating the Minato City National Security Act. He was temporarily charged with one crime of inciting others to split the country and one crime of terrorist activity. The case was handled by the newly-established National Security Office of the police and appeared in the West Kowloon Bay Court in the afternoon.

At 3 pm on the same day, a 24-year-old man drove an orange-red motorcycle with the banner of "Recovering Hong Kong, the Revolution of the Times" at the rear of Jaffe Road in Wan Chai near Kobrian Road, suspecting of rushing towards the riot police's defense line. Turn right on Jaffe Road to Cycling Road, and stop at Kobrian Road where several riot police officers stopped and arrested their uniforms. The online footage captured several riot police officers trying to block motorcycles on the road at the time. The motorcycle did not stop. Some police officers were knocked off and fell to the ground. The motorcycle driver fell to the ground afterwards. . The incident resulted in injuries to the hands and knees of three police officers. The male driver was arrested for driving violently and violating the Minato City Security Act.
