Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez stressed that international pressure is the deterrent to the plans of the Israeli occupation entity to annex parts of the West Bank.
Rodriguez said in a tweet on Twitter today that only international pressure will prevent "Israel" from annexing the Palestinian territories in the West Bank, stressing the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and to have an independent and sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Rodriguez said earlier that these plans that the Israeli entity intends to "increase the risks of conflict in the region," stressing that the only possible solution is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the pre-1967 borders.
The occupation authorities are accelerating the implementation of its plan to annex parts of the West Bank in implementation of the provisions of the so-called "deal of the century" that Washington announced in late January after it actually began implementing it in late 2017 by declaring Jerusalem the capital of the usurping entity and moving its embassy to it in May 2018 despite the widespread Palestinian and international rejection of this. Actions that violate international law and international legitimacy decisions.
