The information, announced by the Haut-Savoy press, was confirmed to AFP by his cabinet. The appeal relates in particular to a hundred or so proxies established within the legal deadline but which would not have been registered in time for the ballot.

This appeal, which will not be examined immediately by the administrative justice, does not compromise the installation of François Astorg in the mayor's chair, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, according to the same source.

Annecy, anchored for a long time in the center-right, rocked to the left on Sunday and environmentalists with the very close victory of the candidate EELV at the expense of Jean-Luc Rigaut, who supported LREM. Mr. Astorg, ally for with the deputy (ex-LREM) Frédérique Lardet, won 44.74% of the 28,305 votes cast in a ballot marked by 64.35% of abstention.
