During the night of May 2 to 3, the firefighters intervened in the industrial zone of Douai for the fire of a relay antenna, " in full containment ". " The criminal nature " of the fire " was quickly confirmed " and the damage was estimated " between 300,000 and 500,000 euros, " said a source familiar with the matter to AFP.

The criminal brigade of the interregional directorate of the Lille judicial police arrested on June 30 six suspects close to " circles advocating a form of violent contestation " who were taken into police custody. Among these six people, one was released after his hearing, without being prosecuted, a minor was charged with " destruction of property in an organized gang " and " criminal association in with a view to committing an offense ”, and the four others, aged 22 to 32, will be tried immediately in court Friday afternoon in Douai.

The degradation of relay antennas has multiplied in recent weeks in France. Actions generally attributed to members of the ultra-left or to anti-5G conspiracy activists.
