Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree setting tomorrow, Saturday, a date for the entry of amendments to the Russian constitution that have been voted throughout Russia and supported by the majority of voters.
And the text of the decree, as quoted by Tass news agency, said that "the amendments to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Russia will enter into force starting tomorrow, the fourth of July 2020."
President Putin called on the relevant authorities to formally publish the Russian constitution with the adopted amendments.
On Wednesday, the voting process for the amendments to the Russian constitution ended all over the country, and the Central Elections Committee announced that after counting 100 percent of the votes, results showed that 77.92 percent of the participants voted in favor of the amendments, compared to 21.27 against them.
