The trend continues • More than 55,000 people were diagnosed with corona virus • 129,000 dead • Trump: "The rise in diagnoses - thanks to the amount of tests"
Losing control? The world record for a number of infected patients broke tonight (Friday) in the United States when 55,274 people were diagnosed in Corona around the continent 24 hours a day. The previous global record was in Brazil where on June 19, 54,771 patients were diagnosed with the virus. The country's death toll stands at more than 129,000, which is close to a quarter of the world's victims.

The increase has been measured in 37 of the 50 continent states as the United States enters a critical weekend in which 244th Independence Day will occur and at the same time many governors continue to argue that easing restrictions on residents. Many states have reinstated the rules of social remoteness and announced the cancellation of spectacular fireworks to mark the establishment of the state.
In Florida, more than 10,000 people have been diagnosed with the sharpest increase since the outbreak. California has seen a 37% increase in the number of examinations conducted over the past two weeks and the number of those hospitalized has exceeded 50%. At the same time, the governor of Texas, in which more than 8,000 patients were diagnosed yesterday, called for making protective measures mandatory in all states where there are more than 20 verified patients.
There is an increase in Coronavirus cases because our testing is so massive and so good, far bigger and better than any other country. This is great news, but even better news is that death, and the death rate, is DOWN. Also, younger people, who get better much easier and faster!
- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 3, 2020
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump argued last night that the increase in the number of cases is related to the amount of tests that have been carried out. In a tweet on his Twitter account: "Our testing system is working great, and much better than any other country, but the even better news is the resin of the dead is in decline."
