The senior officers are "waiting" and we are paying: At least three Brigadier General and one champion who will either finish or soon finish his job, are awaiting the Chief of Staff's inauguration hearing, which is estimated to take place only at the end of the year or early next year. In an unusual situation where such a number of officers await the round of chief of staff discussions without an official position.

The most senior officer awaiting appointment is the outgoing Planning Division Chief, Colonel Amir Abulafia, who resigned about two weeks ago and is also awaiting the Chief of Staff's large round of appointments.

Another senior officer awaiting the appointment is former Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Meirav Kirshner, who has been in the IDF for about eight months without a formal standard and serves as a projector under the Deputy Chief of Staff, pending a decision on whether to form a Chief of Staff. A very deserving officer, who has performed two senior positions in the EQA, but has not been promised that she will take the role of the EQA head and may have waited months for free. Major General Kochavi is expected to make a decision on her matter soon.

Two other senior officers who will be serving in the near future and have not yet been appointed are the Gaza Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Eliezer Toledano, and the Commander of the Operations Division, Brig. Gen. Yaniv. These are two highly esteemed officers who are candidates to advance to champion positions in the upcoming inauguration debate, which are expected to remain vacant for several months. The chief of staff is expected to hold the inaugural inaugural discussion between October and January, and is estimated to be in December-January.

Sources in the details told "Israel Today" that the chief of staff could not begin the round of appointments in these ranks without the appointment of a deputy chief of staff, who is expected to be appointed in the next round, and therefore a situation where senior officers "on the air" could not be prevented for a few months.

In one way or another, IDF officers, including senior officials, are outraged by the fact that the chief of staff is "keeping too close to the chest" the appointments, and senior officers continue to receive a salary without a job. It should be noted that due to the "traffic jam" in the appointments, there is nowhere for the divisional commanders to advance, and it is likely that at least some will serve a third year in the divisional division until there is nowhere to advance or move.

The injustice is exacerbated by the fact that because of the cuts, the IDF is retiring from service just months before reaching 25 years of service, so that they cannot maximize their pension rights, preventing them, among other things, from the "salary" of 13 pensions.

"Senior officers continue to receive salaries worth tens of thousands of shekels without a formal role and await the chief of staff's decisions, and the more junior officers are 'banging on'," said an officer in the IDF. The IDF spokesman said in response: "The facts in the article regarding the USSR operations and the Gaza Division commander negate every element.

The future inauguration process not only ended, but did not even begin, and they are still in demanding positions. After completing their duties, they will be placed in additional positions in the IDF. The attempt to impeach the IDF's inaugural discussions is not serious and indicates a lack of understanding of the military system. "
