Brie Larson auditioned for the starring roles in "The Hunger Games" and "Terminator: Genisys," but didn't get them.

(CNN) - Before being "Captain Marvel," Brie Larson says she didn't get the roles for some great movies.

The actress auditioned for a role in a Star Wars movie , and for starring roles in The Hunger Games and Terminator: Genisys , but didn't get them, she revealed on her new YouTube channel on Thursday.

"I auditioned for Star Wars, " said Larson. “I auditioned for The Hunger Games , I auditioned for the Terminator reboot . Actually, I was thinking about restarting Terminator today because I had a flat tire, and I thought, 'Oh, the last time I punctured was when I was driving towards my Terminator audition . ' I clicked on the audition and then I didn't get the job, ”he said.
