The Legislative Council Kowloon West Constituency re-hosted the primary election forum. Only 7 of the 9 candidate democrats attended. The controversial current legislator Huang Biyun and Indian social worker Jeffrey Andrew did not attend. Unlike the previous primary election forum, the focus of this forum is no longer Huang Biyun, but after the entry into force of the Minato City National Security Law, the risk of pan-popular and local candidates being increased by DQ means that even candidates Winning in the primaries may not necessarily achieve the 35+ goal of the democrats.

Cen Zijie, deputy chairman of the Social People's Company, pointed out that the significance of the primary election is to reflect public opinion, so that citizens can reflect their favorite candidates with votes under the "DQ red line" without the government. Cen Zijie believes that the "red line" set up by the government should no longer be held by the nose, because of fear of being DQ-backed.

One part of the forum was for candidates to speak freely for 3 minutes. Cen Zijie asked other candidates who would most like to kick off the members of the formed faction. Many candidates said that they most want to kick off the current Legislative Council member, Liang Meifen from the Pakatan Harapan Council. To criticize Mao Mengjing, a member of the Legislative Council and the parliamentary front, as a lawyer, Liang Meifen used his profession to distort the facts and should be eliminated.

Candidates attending the Nine-Western Primary Election Forum today include the current Legislative Council Member Mao Mengjing, the Vice Chairman of the Social and Civil Company Cen Zijie, the spokesperson of the Civil Diplomacy Network Zhang Kunyang, the Democratic People’s Congress Sham Shui Po District Council Member He Qiming, the Sham Shui Po District Council Member Liu Weicong, the former school federation contenders Support Fund Chairman Liu Zefeng and Kowloon City Community Director Feng Dajun, a total of 7 people.
