(CNN Spanish) - The Attorney General of Venezuela Tarek William Saab announced this Friday that he requested arrest warrants and the freezing of the assets of the members of the ad hoc board of directors of the Central Bank of Venezuela appointed by Juan Guaidó, president of the Assembly National of Venezuela and recognized as interim president by more than 50 countries.

Among the names we can highlight Julio Borges, Carlos Vecchio and Vanessa Neumann.

CNN is contacting each of them and the Guaidó press team to find out their position in this regard. Borges lives in Colombia, Vecchio in the United States and Neumann in the United Kingdom. All of them, according to the Prosecutor's Office, are charged with the crimes of "treason against the country, usurpation of functions and association to commit a crime".

The London High Court denied access to the funds stored in the Bank of England vaults, around $ 1.1 billion in gold to the government of the questioned President Nicolás Maduro, and ruled that the British government has "unequivocally" recognized Guaidó as interim president of Venezuela.

The measure requested by the Public Ministry of Venezuela also applies to the members of the Office of the special prosecutor appointed by Guaidó who brought the lawsuit.
