Four police officers from the presidential custody were infected

Four members of the Federal Police, in charge of custody in the presidential residence of Olivos and the Casa Rosada , became infected with coronavirus, for which reason the force decided to isolate them .

From the Government they clarified to Clarin that the uniformed persons are guarding the perimeter of the residence, on the outside, and "they have no contact with the interior or with the President" Alberto Fernández.

The custody of the president is in charge of the Military House , that is, the military, which are on the inside side of the government house.

The four police officers who tested positive belong to the Presidential Custody Division of the Federal Police, and since about 10 days the contagions began to occur.

Those who tested positive are Maria Cristina Mamani de Flores (corporal), Juan Eduardo Vargas (sergeant), Demián Alvarez (agent) and Gerardo Daniel Godoy (first sergeant).

Alvarez worked in "Operaciones Libertador", Mamani in the perimeter of the Casa Rosada, Godoy was "armero en Olivos" and Vargas custody.

Uniformed personnel are normally transported by public transport.

Regarding the military who enter and leave the residence, their temperature is taken and "strict controls" are carried out, it was reported.
