A Democratic candidate campaign source told U.S. media that Biden is considering appointing the former national security adviser to the coveted role

Lots of speculation and guesswork are thrown into the air during an attempt to guess who will serve as Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the presidential race and serve as vice president if elected in the White House in November.

Biden has already pledged to elect a woman for the job, and now the political news site "the hill" reports that two major candidates, Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, have been added a new leading candidate, former United Nations Representative Susan Rice.

According to the report, a source close to Biden's campaign and the Democratic Party leaders told the news site that he knew Rice "was in the pool." The news site noted the upcoming work done by the two during President Obama's tenure and that between the two was good chemistry.

"I know for sure they had a good working relationship, more than anyone else on the list. They've known for years and worked side by side.

Biden himself expressed much about the type of race partner he was looking for, saying he was interested in someone: "Be prepared to be president from day one." Rice, daughter of an African American law professor and mother whose parents immigrated from Jamaica, served as President Obama's National Security Advisor and United States Representative at the United Nations Assembly.
