The DAB Chairman Li Huiqiong and the Legislative Council Member Chen Hengbin said that he has written to the Chief Executive, Lin Zheng Yuee, requesting that the "Hong Kong version of the health code" be promoted and implemented as soon as possible, and he hopes to announce the details within this week.

Li Huiqiong said that Hong Kong's current immigration control in response to the epidemic has affected families in both places and caused inconvenience to business. She said that she received many requests from business people and the public, hoping that the government could introduce health code measures as soon as possible.

Chen Hangbin, a member of the New Territories West Legislative Council of the DAB, also said that he has repeatedly received requests from the public and hopes to implement the "Hong Kong Health Code" so that citizens can travel to and from cities in the Bay Area for official business, learning, and emergency matters. In particular, Macao and the Greater Bay Area cities have already adopted health code mutual recognition measures, but the current progress of Hong Kong is lagging behind. He urged the authorities to explain the latest progress of the Hong Kong health code as soon as possible.

As for the local epidemic prevention, Chen Hengbin found that some citizens have recently started wearing masks and relaxed, and called on the public to continue to take good precautions. He also pointed out that the current level of virus testing fees has caused pressure on the grassroots, hoping that the government can provide subsidies.
