Ramon Ceres, 50, was released in January under judicial review because he has been awaiting his appeal hearing for more than two years, more than the " reasonable time " set by law.
At first instance, he was sentenced in October 2017 to 30 years' imprisonment by the Perpignan assize court for the kidnapping, forcible confinement and murder of his ex-wife, mother of three children, in September 2013 in Céré (Pyrénées-Orientales).
Ramon Ceres had respected his judicial supervision until June, a few days before the holding of his appeal trial. He was arrested in Villeneuve-les-Avignon Monday morning by the BRI of Montpellier, we added to the BNRF.
