Mr Porter is taking the wave of surf culture for this summer. Through a series of collections designed by 17 brands, among which the specialists Birdwell or Saturdays NYC, the British site makes a strong nod to this subculture.
On the menu: swimsuits, of course, but not only. The denim is dyed pink by the Californian streetwear brand Noon Goons. The legendary Hawaiian shirt is revisited, notably by Go Barefoot, in colorful animal patterns. The Elder Statesman, a Los Angeles brand renowned for its cashmere pieces, uses tie & dye for shirts and shorts. In short, a relaxed elegance, ideal for spending the summer. And for those who want to go further in relaxation, the collection also includes a book by one of the most legendary surfers in history, Laird Hamilton.
