This government was eagerly awaited, how do you react to ministerial appointments?
CHRISTIAN JACOB. All that for this! We are still much more on a set of musical chairs than anything else. He takes the same and starts again. This demonstrates, once again, the weakening of the President of the Republic. We have never seen a president so weakened with a scathing failure in the municipal elections, a parliamentary majority exploding ... The President of the Republic was unable to define a course and an orientation in his recent interview with the Parisian. He therefore seeks to occupy the space with a casting without knowing which play is going to be performed! This government is there to handle the day-to-day business of the end of a five-year term. We were entitled to expect something else.

Gérald Darmanin in Beauvau, Roselyne Bachelot in Culture, Brigitte Klinkert in charge of Integration with the Minister of Labor… Does this not reflect a right shift in government policy?
Today, these ministers are primarily opportunists. What connection does Darmanin have with the right? He is a member On the move. If I were the president, I would be wary of it, because the Minister of the Interior has the genes of treason! The president went to get a personality or two who needed recognition, that's all.

So you expect nothing from the Prime Minister's general policy speech next week?
I don't know what to expect. We have a Prime Minister who has his director of cabinet imposed on him from the left (Editor's note: Nicolas Revel, formerly director of the National Health Insurance Fund) , and who had to postpone, like a collaborator, his political speech general. We have been busy with the reshuffle for two weeks and we will have to wait another week. A month lost to procrastinate!
