Last update date: 2020-07-06 14:13Some netizens launched the "and you lunch" at the International Finance Center Mall (IFC) in Central today (6th), which was the first "and you lunch" after the legislation of the Minato City National Security Law.
Nearly 10 citizens of IFC in Central responded to the "With Lunch" activity in Central at 1pm. The demonstrators screamed on the ground the slogans "Five major demands, all indispensable", "No freedom, rather death", and displayed related slogans. The demonstrators also sang "Let the Glory Return to Hong Kong" accompanied by digital lyrics.
Mr. Tan held up the white paper and put a "cross" on the mask to demonstrate. He pointed out that after the national security law was enacted, I don’t know what kind of slogan would break the law, so he only dared to show a white demonstration. He was worried that he might have a chance to break the law even by showing white paper in the future. The color of the white paper also implies that Hong Kong is facing white terror. He described the feeling of suffocation while living in Hong Kong, hoping to fight for free space for the next generation of Hong Kong. Tan also believes that some people have been arrested recently for hiding the relevant "Recover Hong Kong" flag. It is estimated that everyone has not brought the relevant flag to the scene to reduce the risk. It may be necessary for the court to make a judgment before clarifying whether the possession of the relevant flag is illegal.
Police officers arrived and pulled up the cordon to interrogate the demonstrators
At about 1:42 pm, a group of police officers equipped with anti-riot equipment arrived and pulled up the cordon. The police took at least 4 men and 1 woman into the cordon for interrogation, and asked the other party to open the backpack and display their belongings. One of the intercepted men was present on the scene to display the printed paper. After copying the relevant person's information, the policeman asked the person under question to lower the mask, and the police videographer took pictures of the demonstrators. A police officer present pointed out that because of the suspicion that someone was gathering at the scene and suspected that someone was involved in a violation of the "National Security Law" to investigate, he asked the onlookers to disperse.
