He believes that the college's curriculum content is quite diverse, which helps to train talents. "Always the accounting profession is not only auditing, but also taxation, forensic investigations, mergers and acquisitions, network security, information systems, and technology management." PolyU SPEED courses focus on professional development and applied technology

Dr. Lo said that PolyU SPEED course design is mainly based on application and professional development. "It will ensure that it meets the professional standards of various industries in Hong Kong." Taking the Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (Honours) as an example, it has been awarded by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) ), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Australian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Other courses such as electrical engineering and real estate and construction surveying must ensure that they meet industry standards so that students can join the industry after graduation. Dr. Lo stated that the PolyU SPEED program has joined Work-Integrated Education. Students must complete a certain number of internships before graduation. This requirement can encourage students to accumulate practical experience early. Dr. Lo believes that in addition to the practicality of the course, it can also help inspire students' curiosity and promote their whole-person development.
