Zhou Ting pleaded guilty to the 6.21 siege police case

Huang Zhifeng, Zhou Ting and Lin Langyan, former members of Hong Kong's public opinion, were accused of participating in the siege of the police headquarters on June 21 last year. They were charged with inciting others to knowingly participate in unauthorized assembly. Recalling that, Zhou Ting said that he would plead guilty, while Huang and Lin denied the charges. The prosecution revealed that there would be 21 witnesses and a box of video tapes that lasted 2 hours and 22 minutes. The magistrate adjourned Zhou's case to sentence on August 5. Huang and Lin reviewed the case before the trial on the same day, and everyone was allowed to continue bail on the original conditions.

The three defendants were Huang Zhifeng (22 years old), Lin Langyan (25 years old) and Zhou Ting (22 years old). Huang was charged with 3 crimes, Zhou was charged with 2 crimes, and Lin was charged with 1 crime.

The three persons were jointly charged with a crime of "inciting others to knowingly participate in unauthorized assembly", which was that they illegally incite persons present at Harcourt Road to participate in unauthorized assembly on June 21 at Harcourt Road in Admiralty. Huang also was charged with one count of "organizing an unauthorized assembly", alleging that he organized an unauthorized assembly outside the main entrance of the Wan Chai Police Headquarters on the same day. He and Zhou Tong were charged with a crime of "knowingly participating in an unauthorized assembly", alleging that they participated in an unauthorized assembly outside the police on the same day.

Zhou Hui admitted to incite others to knowingly participate in unauthorized assembly, and knowingly participate in unauthorized assembly, the case will be formally convicted and sentenced by the presiding judge at the West Kowloon Magistrates' Court on August 5 this year.
