A 15-year-old boy died on Monday July 6 at the wheel of the tractor he was driving on a departmental road near Ancenis in Loire-Atlantique. The vehicle overturned on him.

The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. in Montrelais, near Ancenis. “ The youngster lost control of the tractor on departmental D723 in a descent. The trailer, which was carrying around ten tonnes of rapeseed, picked up too much speed and the young man lost control of the vehicle, "the local gendarmerie company told AFP.
“ The whole thing fell into a ditch, there is a slope of five to six meters at this location. The cabin he was in was ripped off and the tractor almost rolled over. The young man had died when help arrived , "said the gendarmerie.
