The Corona virus does not recognize borders, and the pace of its infection breaks new records every day. The fact is that even the closure of the border crossings and the entry of foreigners have failed to stop him from reaching all over the world.

Among other things, the virus has made its way to Iran, the epicenter of the first disease outbreak in the Middle East. Iran has, as it is known, tied itself in the axis of evil to Lebanon and Hezbollah, to Syria of Bashar and even to Yemen. In the lanes where the Iranians passed missiles and weapons, financial aid and even volunteers, the Corona viruses have now passed. Lebanon has become the second focus in the Middle East, followed by Yemen and even Syria.

Designing the pathways for spreading the disease is therefore more than an epidemiological investigation. It has a story to tell with policy and security implications. One such story was unveiled last week between the pages of the Corona National Information and Knowledge Center's report, which sought to discuss the ways in which the virus has spread throughout Israel.

It turns out that an outbreak of the Jaffa disease, reported about a month ago, has led to the spread of the virus to Bedouin concentrations in the Negev, which has become one of the most significant disease centers in Israel. From there, the virus continued to Mount Hebron and crept into Hebron, Ramallah, and even Nablus and its environs. From there he moved to the triangular settlements on the Israeli side of the Green Line.

These are not hypotheses or guesses, but the results of epidemiological investigations conducted on verified patients, revealing the interrelationships among the populations in these areas - family and trade relations that lead, for example, the Bedouin from the Negev to Mount Hebron and the Arabs of the Triangle to the Judean and Samaria intrusions. Against this background, it is no wonder that in half of the cases examined in the Triangle villages, the source of infection was in the Bedouin communities in the Negev. This is also the reason for the dramatic increase in morbidity in the Palestinian Authority, which has decided to prohibit the entry of Arab citizens from Israel into its territory.

This is a health challenge first and foremost because it is difficult to monitor compliance with the Ministry of Health guidelines within the PA. But the Corona routes indicate a set of ties that must be security-related, since trade routes and family ties - and now Corona distribution routes - can also become a security headache.

At the same time, the Corona lanes indicate that the Green Line, where many are still hanging in Israel and abroad, has been effectively erased - and in fact does not exist. Not only because of the settlement enterprise, but also because the Arabs of Israel and the Palestinians vote for one space open for family and economic relations. The Corona did not reveal America to us; It simply reflects a fact of life that some people try to ignore.
