Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador left on a commercial flight to Washington for his meeting with United States President Donald Trump at the White House. López Obrador said in his morning conference that the meeting will focus on the issue of the economy, fundamentally the renewed T-MEC trade agreement, and stressed that "we are not going in a confrontational plan." Part of the agenda revealed so far includes honors to Abraham Lincoln and Benito Juárez; a private meeting between both leaders, a second working meeting accompanied by their delegations; and a dinner to which businessmen from both countries will join.
