The decline in gross domestic product (GDP) in France would reach only 9% in 2020, according to the economic outlook published by INSEE Wednesday July 8, while the government expects a collapse of 11% and the Banque de France 10%.

After contracting 5.3% in the first quarter and then 17% in the second due to the coronavirus pandemic, GDP would rebound by 19% in the third quarter then by 3% in the fourth, specifies the National Institute of Statistics .
