The first coronavirus infected appeared in Argentina's First Division soccer

The coronavirus also reached First Division soccer. After confirming various cases both in Ascent and in women's football, the pandemic now appeared in the highest category: Mariano Campodónico, Israel Damonte's aide-de-camp in the Hurricane, tested positive and is hospitalized at the German Hospital. In addition, his two sons and wife are infected.

The former soccer player did not present any type of symptoms , like the two boys. For his part, the woman, who in recent days suffered a feverish illness, would have been the first to catch it, after having been attending a hardware store in the town of Guernica, province of Buenos Aires. Likewise, she is the only one who has already returned home. Although the other members of the family have not yet received a medical discharge, this Wednesday they could return to their home to continue the isolation.

The former scorer is admitted to the Alemán hospital.

In this way, Campodónico, who, together with his brother Pablo, has worked in the Globo coaching staff since the beginning of the year, became the first positive case of COVID-19 in the First Division.

Mariano, along with his brother Pablo, has been working in Huracán since the beginning of the year.
