After Defense Minister Benny Gantz announced that the Intelligence Movement should be promoted to the Negev, the Chief of Staff, Rabbi Aviv Kochavi, visited a number of bases in Be'er Sheva this evening (Tuesday) and a meeting with the heads of local authorities.

The chief of staff also visited the National Cyber Headquarters, a visit whose purpose was to strengthen cooperation between the IDF and the organization.

New bases and buildings have been established in recent years from the northern Negev to almost Eilat. This is the decision.
