Second wave in the IDF: An entire company in the Magellan unit went into solitary confinement Thursday after a deputy commander was diagnosed as a Corona patient, Israel Today said.

The IDF confirmed the information and said that last week a verified patient officer was discovered in the unit. As a result, and in accordance with the instructions, dozens of soldiers and commanders in the unit were isolated.

In addition, the IDF noted that most of the isolates feel good and do not show symptoms. Soldiers and commanders with symptoms have been sent to isolation separately, examined and will continue to be examined in the coming days.

As first published in Israel Today, the Kfir Brigade's "Nachshon" battalion is in "unit isolation" at the Golan Heights base due to suspicion of coronation patients being exposed. The details of the incident indicate that a battalion soldier was having a birthday party at the pool during the previous weekend. The soldier is not expected to stand trial despite violating the instructions. 

At the party, the soldier was exposed to a verified patient and contracted herself. Most of the battalion was exposed to a soldier, and therefore the battalion is enclosed in one of the IDF bases in the Golan Heights. Yesterday, we also announced that the Corona Corps Sands Corps had also been discovered in the Gaza Division's northern brigade, and an entire Capsule capsule had been isolated. 

Yesterday, it was also learned that the chief of staff, Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi, had been exposed to a coronated patient about a week ago and went into isolation. Along with him, more officers were isolated. At the same time, Defense Minister Benny Gantz has also been in isolation in recent days after being exposed to a verified patient. Despite the military's actions, as in the entire state, the wave of morbidity has also been evident in recent days. As of yesterday, the IDF had 316 active patients (the number is expected to be updated) and some 10,000 are isolated.
