A day after he disappeared near a river in downtown Yekaterinburg, Russia, on Wednesday, the body of a 9-year-old boy from an apple settlement in Israel was found, according to a recent ZAKA update posted on the site.

The child's body was found at noon (Israel Watch) and now the city's rabbi and Chabad envoy, Rabbi Zelig Ashkenazi is in contact with the local police and assisting the family.

The boy came to Russia to visit his grandfather, who is the head of the Jewish community in the city of Yekaterinburg, and as mentioned, a day after he disappeared by a river in the city center, after apparently drowning in the river, his body was found today.
