(CNN Spanish) - The President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, continues in isolation at his residence and doing telework, after he was discharged from the Tegucigalpa Military Hospital on July 2, after being infected with covid-19, as reported CNN Dr. Francis Contreras, spokesman for the National Risk Management System.
The president confirmed on June 16 that he was positive for coronavirus and was admitted to the Military Hospital to receive medical assistance, where he was treated for presenting "slight leaks in the lungs" as a result of the disease, as Contreras reported at the time.

After 16 days, the president presented an improvement in his health, according to the body of the doctor who was treating him, so he was discharged. According to Contreras, they wait for the president to fulfill the days of isolation to perform a third test for coronavirus.
