Better late than never. The National Assembly adopted Thursday, the evening of the third crisis budget 2020 to implement the plan to support the economy, which should amount to more than 136 billion euros. MEPs were originally to vote on this text last week. But the examination in public session had been stopped following the resignation of the Philippe government. This budget must now be examined in the Senate with a view to final adoption by Parliament only at the end of July.
" This text makes it possible to build an essential bridge between emergency and recovery, " insists Laurent Saint-Martin, LREM rapporteur for the finance committee at the Assembly.
