The Chief Executive, Lin Zhengyue, addressed the Hong Kong Education Summit Forum today (11th) and said that some students have a weak sense of law-abiding. The violently baptized young people seem to be used to expressing their opinions and fighting for their own interests with slogans or resistance. She also believes that the problems of the younger generation in Hong Kong are because education in Hong Kong has become "politicized."

The events of CUHK and PolyU reflect that the university seems to be a hotbed of violence

She pointed out that the violent violations caused by the "revision of the law" not only caused trauma to Hong Kong, but also affected the rule of law. Many people also felt that Hong Kong's education had problems. So far, more than 3,000 students from universities, middle schools and elementary schools have been arrested for participating in illegal violence. The events of the "Chinese University" and "PolyU" also reflect that the university campus seems to have become a "bed of violence". In middle schools, there is a wide range of behaviors such as the "human chain" of student groups, and the slogan called "Hong Kong independence", which makes people's extreme rejection of the country and the government have rooted in the hearts of young people nowadays. The "Rituals" also gave birth to some middle school students' connected organizations, advocating strikes, and even "Hong Kong independence". This incident reflects the weak law-abiding awareness of some students.

She hoped that people from various educational circles in the forum could understand why the central government must maintain national security legislation for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the national level, and why there are two provisions in this national law that are directly related to schools, that is Article 9 It clearly stipulates that the SAR government should take necessary measures to strengthen publicity, guidance, supervision and management of matters involving national security in schools; and Article 10 states that national security education should be carried out through schools to raise the national security awareness and law-abiding awareness of residents of the SAR.
