The moratorium chapter was the only one in the Solidarity Law that Together for Change voted in favor last December. Now, the main opposition bench is ready to accompany the government's new payment plan, although it will emphasize denouncing the points that could benefit businessman Cristobal López  and will also request that a “prize” be included for those who pay their taxes on time and shape.

The new moratorium is one of the main issues that the ruling party - led by the president of the Lower House, Sergio Massa - had agreed with the opposition to discuss in July in mixed sessions.

Although the Budget committee, chaired by Carlos Heller, has not yet formally called the debate, it is expected that it will begin to discuss next week.

The Executive would also send by law in the next few days the expansion of the Budget  and a bill to restructure the debt under Argentine law on equal terms to the proposed exchange for the external debt. Two points that could be settled via DNU, but that the Government wants to pass through Congress.
