Yuan Guoyong continued that the cost of virus detection in Hong Kong is high and it is difficult to conduct large-scale screening. As for why the authorities have not cooperated with the mainland so far, he is not clear. He reminded everyone to still pay attention to hand and mouth hygiene at this stage, and make sure not to form a chain of communication when dining in restaurants.
