The rift in the coalition expands? Following Friday's publication in "Israel Today" about the approach between the ultra-Orthodox and the blue and white, alongside anger at Netanyahu and harsh statements against him - in Likud attacking back. A party official tells Israel today "They are comfortable (for the ultra-Orthodox, YS), what's wrong with them? They get what they want. Blue and white work 24/7 to please them. "

He says, "The ultra-Orthodox have no position like ours in the justice system, security matters don't interest them, they get the things that matter to them, the yeshiva budgets - and come on, it's all right. .

He added that "Deri's problem is that he is a prisoner in his audience. His audience wants Bibi, his audience does not agree to same-sex marriage, public transportation on Saturday, and the like. In the end, there is nothing in common between Blue and White. We have an ideological level of adhesion, Likud is a traditional party, they have nothing to do elsewhere. "

In the meantime, though last week, Likud officials said they would approve the government as soon as a one-year budget despite blue-and-white opposition - the issue does not appear on the agenda of the government meeting distributed this weekend.

As first published in Israel Today, Netanyahu and Gantz met to discuss the budget on the basis of their political controversy. At the meeting, both sides insisted on their positions; Netanyahu on a one-year budget and a budget on a two-year budget. Netanyahu argues that during the Corona and economic uncertainty, a one-year budget must be passed and supported by the Budget Department, the Governor of the Bank of Israel and the Accountant General. On the other hand, in blue and white, Netanyahu fears a political exercise to topple the government.

Agreements are coming

The Likud states that agreements are being reached between the parties, and that a one-year budget will be passed with reference to burning long-term economic issues. Blue and white say they will not support a budget that only answers for three months, as it has no long-term safety nets for any of the sectors.
