The Frenchman Romain Grosjean (Haas) will take the start of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Styria from the pit lane on Sunday at 3.10 p.m. (to follow on our website), following a penalty imposed by the race commissioners.
He is penalized because his team was forced to work on his car outside of the authorized hours on Saturday evening following a breakdown which occurred at the very start of the qualifications and which prevented him from participating. Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) will start in pole position on the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria.
The F1 season started last Sunday on the same circuit, more than three months late due to the coronavirus pandemic. Finland's Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) leads the driver classification after winning this first round ahead of Monaco's Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Britain's Lando Norris (McLaren). Hamilton only finished 4th after receiving penalties for causing a collision during the GP and making an error in qualifying.
