At 5 pm, from Olivos, by teleconference. It is the time, place and format of the meeting that Alberto Fernández schedules for this Monday with deputies from the ruling party and the opposition.

The Government confirmed the meeting, removed the agenda and assumed that all the blocks will be present - remotely. In these hours, it emerged that there are frictions in Together for Change (JxC) about participating or not, but legislative sources trusted this newspaper that after 17:30, except for Mario Negri, who presides over the UCR block; the others had confirmed that they will participate.

According to the legislative point, Cristian Ritondo (PRO), Cordovan Carlos Gutiérrez (Federal), missionary Ricardo Wellbarch, Neuquén Liliana Sapag and Romina del Pla from the left bloc have already confirmed their participation.

There will also be Máximo Kirchner, president of the majority bloc, the Frente de Todos (FdT). It will not include, at this stage, the senators, as Clarín confirmed in sources of the upper house and the government.

The meeting was resolved in Olivos at the beginning of last week and originally had an engine, but then added a cyclical component. On the one hand, the government's decision to send three "heavy" laws to Congress : moratorium 2020, expansion of the 2020 budget, and exchange of the debt in dollars issued in local legislation.

On the other, send a message of political dialogue with the opposition, an institutional table, after the crossings and the tensions of the last few days, particularly after the crime of Fabián Gutiérrez (former Secretary K) that led to a controversial statement by Juntos for the Change (JxC), powered by Patricia Bullrich and Alfredo Cornejo , which generated disputes in space.

Sergio Massa, president of the Chamber of Deputies, was promoter of the summit and interlocutor with the heads of the opposition blocs.

Massa was, on behalf of Fernández, in charge of distributing the invitation and specifying the agenda. In the point that the leaders of the opposition bloc received, there are five points: in addition to the three laws, an analysis of the health situation was included, and a fifth point, which becomes relevant in this context, referring to the post-pandemic “political dialogue” .

During the week there were talks and cross-consultations. But the official call was made this afternoon once Fernández, in contact with Massa, defined a topic to discuss with the legislators.

After noon, UCR sources indicated that they did not have any official information, that in the event that there is a call from the president they would evaluate him but, in turn, he wanted to know with what agenda they are called to dialogue.

Late, according to the Negri environment, one more claim: Together for Change (JxC), the second minority in Deputies, claims a hand-to-hand meeting with Fernández, without the participation of minority blocks.

"In Cambiemos they seem to forget that during Macri's administration when they called for the opposition, they never called the Front for Victory (FPV) . Alberto calls everyone and listens to everyone, the volume of each vote is seen later, in the venue, "said an official source.

In Olivos, from noon they took it for granted that the meeting would be this Monday at 5 in the afternoon and it was even analyzed that it could be in person in the case of nearby legislators. After reviewing that decision, it was agreed to be by teleconference.
