Volunteers from the Hong Kong Institute of Public Opinion continued to count physical votes at 9:30 am today (13th). As of 12:00 noon, the volunteers were still counting physical votes directly elected on the Hong Kong Island area.
About 15 volunteers assisted in counting physical tickets in the office of the Hong Kong Institute of Public Opinion in Huangzhukeng in the morning. The counting process is similar to the process of voting at the weekend. Volunteers input the voter information and voting information on the physical ticket into the computer system through a smart phone to generate a QR code. After another staff of the institute checks the information, scan the two-dimensional Code to complete the voting process.
The counting process started at 9:30 in the morning, first counting the physical votes of Hong Kong Island. According to the scene, the vast majority of voters voted for the Democratic Party Xu Zhifeng, followed by Yuan Jiawei and the Citizen Party Zheng Dahong; the Super District voted for the Democratic Party Kwong Junyu, followed by Cen Aohui and the Democratic Party Tu Jinshen.

Zhong Tingyao, chief executive and chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Public Opinion, monitored the counting process at the scene. It is understood that after the counting process is completed, Dai Yaoting and Ou Nuoxuan will review and integrate the results of electronic voting and physical voting.
