HKUST emailed teachers and students that the confirmed laboratory research assistants work mainly on the 5th floor of the Zhengyutong Building, two small laboratories in the "LIFS Zone H" and the 6th floor of the laboratory building. The Administration has provided virus detection for close contacts and sent it to the quarantine center for isolation. The school will arrange virus detection for teachers and students working or conducting activities in the above-mentioned locations starting today.

Teachers and students need to call the HKUST Clinic to make an appointment first. The resident doctor will verify the contact status and will provide a sample bottle of deep throat saliva to the other party after confirmation. After collecting the samples by themselves the next morning, they are required to submit the sample bottles to the designated government clinic for testing; those living in the dormitory of the University of Science and Technology will be sent by the school. HKUST students can use related services free of charge, and faculty can use medical cards or pay 15 yuan.

The school expects that the above arrangement will eliminate the anxiety of teachers and students.
