Following the racist and humiliating video: El Magical councilor Salameh Al-Atrash filed a complaint at the Beersheba police station today against children's star Roy Oz, known as Roy Boy, who was documented in the video calling his children "Bedouin feed".

The council chief was unimpressed by the star's apology. "Shame and disgrace," he told Atarsh. "Woe to the kids that Roy Boy is their role model. Woe to the parents who take their kids to the shows this man is attending. Despicable video of a despicable man. His apology is unacceptable and unacceptable."
A senior Southern District Police official said that even though a complaint was filed, Oz had no criminal record. "There is no justification for launching a criminal investigation," the source said.
The video in question was posted last weekend on the Tiktok network, which shows Oz as he was traveling with his children in one of the tribes of the Bedouin diaspora in the Negev.
During the trip, Oz pulled out a cookie and asked the children, "Who wants to feed a Bedouin?" He then handed them the cookie, in order to give it to one of the Bedouin children who was outside the vehicle. Later in the video, the father, who also speaks Arabic, spoke to the children in Arabic and told them to eat the cookie.

Co-chair of the MK MK Ayman Odeh defined the act as "child abuse - first of children outside the vehicle and then of those in it. Arab citizens of the Negev were here before this racism and will remain here much later."
Chairman of the Committee on the Rights of the Child MK Joseph Jabarin also commented on the documentation: "It is painful to see this video, especially when children are at its center. "Just a video. It reflects what too many people think of Arab citizens and reveals the racist attitude of the establishment to Arab society. Disgust."
