The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court released the last two detainees from the riots that broke out last night after the self-employed demonstration in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.

The last suspect in custody was suspected of burning bins during the protest. Attorney Michal Helbini, who represented him on behalf of the public defense, argues that this is a "normative guy who, after the crisis, has run into financial difficulties and has come to protest his situation. He denies the suspicions and claims that he did not try to ignite bins, claiming that all his sin he expressed his displeasure with the situation in the country. The court accepted our claims and released the man into house arrest. "

Earlier today, Tel Aviv Magistrate Judge Anat Yahav released a 24-year-old house arrest from Bnei Brak, who was arrested last night during a confrontation with police after the rally in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.

The suspect who was released for house arrest was arrested at the end of the demonstration on suspicion of felony possession of a knife, disturbance and assaulting a police officer while performing his job, damaging the property for allegedly violating behavior that could violate public peace.

According to the police, while the police released the checkpoints at the dispersal points of the demonstration, the suspect deliberately knocked down a police motorcycle and caused him damage.

The police detained him and then a brief confrontation began between them and the young man was arrested. After getting into the patrol car, the suspect pulled out a knife from his pocket and began to vandalize the seats. Police added that the suspect even threw his water at the patrol car, raged, attacked the police and then, during his investigation, also cursed them.

Police Rep. June Hirshhorn, who sought to extend the suspect's arrest, said in court today that when police tried to prevent him from continuing to damage the patrol car, he also attacked them and, during an investigation, began raging, grabbing the computer mouse and throwing it at them.

The suspect's defense counsel argued that in light of the fact that the young man is without a criminal record and because of the corona's spread, the court should examine the necessity of the arrest.

Judge Yahav accepted the defense's remarks and released the suspect into house arrest, stating: "A perusal of the investigation indicates that there is a reasonable suspicion of the crimes being committed by the suspect when his conduct began in a demonstration and continued in the police car. The need for a demonstration, I do not understand why there was a need for violent behavior against property and police officers.
