(CNN) - Iconic Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya tested positive for coronavirus after the news that Aishwarya's husband and father-in-law were hospitalized with the virus.
Rai Bachchan, once named "the most beautiful woman in the world" and winner of the 1994 Miss World pageant, joined the most famous Bollywood family by marrying actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007.
He announced Sunday through his verified Twitter account that his wife and eight-year-old daughter have coronavirus.
"Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested positive for covid-19. They will be quarantined at home, ”Abhishek Bachchan tweeted. “The rest of the family, including my mother, has tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers, "he added.

Abhishek Bachchan had previously announced that he and his father, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, had tested positive for the virus and had been taken to hospital.

"My father and I will remain in the hospital until the doctors decide otherwise," he wrote. “Everyone, please remain cautious and safe. Please follow all the rules! "

Bachchan and Rai Bachchan are among the most famous Bollywood couples and have been listed as the "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie" of India when they were still a Hollywood couple.
