Ghislaine Maxwell's arrest has put the youngest son of Elizabeth II back in the spotlight. Blamed for his links with the American financier, he was already in a delicate position which forced him to withdraw from any official role.

At a press conference ten days ago, the American prosecutor Audrey Strauss indicated that the New York investigators still hoped to question the Duke of York. "We would be delighted if Prince Andrew came to speak to us, we would like to be able to take advantage of his statements," she said, stressing that the investigation was still ongoing. In London, sources close to the prince said they were "puzzled" , claiming to have "communicated twice with the Department of Justice (DoJ) last month" , without having received a response.
