Dashon Jackson embodies the American dream. That is, he embodied the American dream until last week, when he began to symbolize everything that is sick in America. He is a football player on the top teams in the United States, picking up awards and titles. This week, in a post he posted on one of the social networks, the real face behind the success was revealed.

The renowned athlete published a quote attributed to Hitler, in which he claimed that the Africans were in fact the real children of Israel, and that the Americans would be shocked when they realized that they had murdered and humiliated the chosen people in enslaving and discriminating against blacks. But that is not the end of the story; In another post he posted, it was stated that the goal of the Jews is to blackmail America and gain control of the entire world, well-known antisemitic blood libels. The quote, it later turned out, was not uttered by Hitler at all, but was linked in his name by neo-Nazi racists whose purpose was to show that Hitler was not a racist, but believed that blacks were the real Israelites.

The publication provoked sharp reactions in the Jewish community and outside it. On the one hand, many Jews as well as non-Jews condemned the actor for the publicity until he was forced to apologize, but on the other hand there were also those who justified him and claimed that he was "telling the truth". But this is not the only antisemitic "truth" that Jackson has shared recently. A video by Luis Farhan, the leader of the radical Islamic nation who called Jews "cockroaches" and "sons of the devil," also found its way onto Jackson's social networks.

Eventually, those who did not lose their sanity realized that the athlete's actions had crossed every line, but they revealed something about American society that no apology or condemnation could protest and take back. Too many Americans have no real desire to eradicate racism; They have a desire to look like they are interested in it, and the difference is like between heaven and earth.

In a climate where celebrities are beating up on sin because of an abusive statement they uttered decades ago or apologizing for daring to dub a minority character in an animated film, antisemitic remarks do not cause public panic. Demonstrations calling for Dashon Jackson's dismissal were not held, and TV studios did not hold a condemnation contest.

This may be due to the fact that Jews in the United States, unlike blacks, are perceived as strong and successful and involved in society, and therefore standing by them, as "privileges," is not seen as part of the fight against racism as opposed to the black community. But in reality there is no degree of racism. It is hatred. Only in the extreme progressive world is this hierarchy a way of life. The anti-Jewish (and anti-Israeli) sentiment may be wrapped up in nice words, but in the end, like Jackson's repulsive musings, it is the same hatred of Jews.
