No traditional parade on the Champs-Elysées this year for July 14, but all the same a looped perimeter and closed metro stations. For the "static" ceremony at the Concorde, the Paris police prefect has planned to establish a protective perimeter this Tuesday between 6.30 am and 2 pm in the area concerned (Champs-Elysées, Concorde, National Assembly).
Within this zone, "the access and movement of people will be regulated with the obligation to submit to the visual inspection of baggage and to their search as well as to security checks, and to the inspection of vehicles", indicates the prefecture.
Motorists are therefore advised to "bypass all of the areas concerned very widely and take the following routes: to the north, avenue des Ternes (17th), and the boulevards of Courcelles (8th), des Batignolles (8th17th ) and Clichy (9th-18th); to the east, the axis of boulevards Saint-Michel, Sébastopol and Strasbourg; in the South, the Grands Boulevards (Montparnasse, Port Royal, Hospital); to the west, the marshals' boulevards or the ring road ”.
Closed metro stations
Added to this is the closure of metro stations in the area, namely: Tuileries, Concorde, Champs-Elysées-Clemenceau, Franklin-D.-Roosevelt, George-V and Charles-de-Gaulle-Etoile, this Tuesday from the entry into service of the metro, and until the instructions of the prefecture in the afternoon.

Closures also in the evening for the fireworks
Other metro stations will also be closed, starting at 7 p.m., this time in the area where the Champ-de-Mars concert and the Trocadéro fireworks take place. These two events are supposed to take place without an audience. However, traffic restrictions are also planned in the sector.
The following metro stations will therefore be closed from 7 p.m .: Pont-de-l'Alma, Tour-Eiffel, Champ-de-Mars, Kennedy-Radio-France (RER C), Javel (RER C / Line 10) , Bir-Hakeim, Boissière, Cambronne, Dupleix, Kléber, Passy, Sèvres-Lecourbe (line 6), Trocadéro (Lines 6 and 9), Iéna, Rue-de-la-Pompe, Alma-Marceau (line 9), Saint -François-Xavier, Varenne (line 13), La-Tour-Maubourg, Ecole-Militaire (line 8), Invalides (RER C, lines 8 and 13), La Motte-Picquet-Grenelle (lines 6, 8 and 10) , Eglise-d'Auteuil, Emile-Zola, Boulogne-Pont-de-Saint-Cloud, Boulogne-Jean-Jaurès, Chardon-Lagache, Charles-Michels, Michel-Ange-Auteuil, Michel-Ange-Molitor, Mirabeau, Porte -d'Auteuil, Ségur (line 10).
The reopening will be done by order of the prefecture at night after the fireworks.
