As a member of the Macri team related to Clarín , while sharing lunch with Cartés, Macri received an invitation from Paraguayan President Mario Abdo Benítez to visit him at the presidential residence. Macri arrived there shortly before 4pm.
Macri's trip, as explained in his team, was made following the sanitary protocols of the two countries. For this reason, upon his return to Buenos Aires, Macri will quarantine his home .
The director of Migrations of Paraguay, Ángeles Arriola, clarified that her country is in Phase 3 of the quarantine, about to enter Phase 4, and there is "a presidential decree that restricts but does not prohibit the entry of foreigners . "
"Since she is going to make a 24-hour income, she has a protocol to comply with," the official explained in statements to Radio 10 . That protocol includes arriving in the country "with a negative Covid test, performed within 48 hours," he said.
"A Paraguayan health personnel receives it, checks it and accompanies him to the place where he must meet his schedule, with police and health support," Arriola explained.
The official said that these income exceptions work for "health, humanitarian, president, ex-president" issues, among other reasons.
