It is rare to see a social protest - fair as it may be - that the strong will not try to direct to their needs. Whoever thinks he is the master of everything, both of the establishment and of the protest against the establishment, will try in every way to take over just protests.

The first hit on the self-employed protest was caught by all sorts of tycoons who wanted to arrange for themselves huge grants while "representing the falafel sellers." They filled the studios with a third of tears over the difficult situation to which the Corona had dragged them. Very quickly got theirs and disappeared.

But what is it compared to the second ride, the one that caught on the backs of the Independents the protest of the black flags; All the obesity and basket of the old elites, who have been protesting for months and months against an elected prime minister. What do they really want, the black flags? They demanded an indictment - and received. Petitioned the High Court against the formation of the government, the High Court ruled - and ruled. What now?

And what exactly is the alternative they offer? Are they in favor of socialism, capitalism or their combination? In favor of a secular, religious or traditional state? They do not stop explaining that a demonstration must be political, but fail to produce a single political statement worthy of the name, beyond "for what is good and against what is bad." They insist on merging with the self-employed protest and being built from it, after failing for months to produce a mass drift to their childish anger. They do not have a constructive message regarding the economic crisis.

Stands a musician like Assaf Amdursky, and is pushed to the cry of people in need of livelihood who are looking for answers to their plight, and shrieks the mantras we heard before, during and after the corona; They will return to them the state registered in their name in the taboo, and they will throw in prison those whom the public has chosen.

My independent brothers, do not be confused. We're doing a round here. It is not the hungry who interest them, nor the independent. They are protesting against you: among the independent there are right-wingers and leftists, Netanyahu supporters and Gantz supporters alike.

I also saw a similar spectacle in the Druze demonstration against the Nationality Law. I remember the disappointment suffered there by radical leftists who came in anticipation of another demonstration against the state. But this was a supremely patriotic demonstration, of those who want to be part of Israeliness, and not strive against it. Yesterday, too, the left was disappointed, with the speakers at the demonstration not dealing with Netanyahu, but with the issue around which they gathered: the plight of the self-employed.

I have been self-employed for eight years, and from day one I am aware of the discrimination that exists against us. Social Security, income tax and VAT are tearing us apart, in exchange for almost nothing. Current plus 30 is a sentence I have heard too many times. In recent years, finance ministers and governments have changed, and no one has been able to significantly improve the situation of the self-employed. And maybe even after both of them. You have to fight so you don't.

The black flag people are as interesting as last year's snow. Do they have a program related to the self-employed? Do they have anything to say about the "hungry" on whose behalf they speak? The blacks "want - the return of the state that the Likudniks stole from them. These are not the hungry. On the contrary. These are the ones who will use the hungry to - in the end - take the power from them.
