“The Dauphiné is the best preparation for the Tour de France. It will be a special edition, with many difficult stages, but it does not scare me and I would love to win a stage again, like last year ", commented Alaphilippe, quoted in a press release from his team Deceuninck-Quick Step. He is currently on an internship in the Italian Dolomites, in Val di Fassa, with his team.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the cycling season has been turned upside down and will resume in early August.
