The government announced today (13th) the list of the fourth batch of employers receiving wage subsidies, the amount of wage subsidies and the number of employees promised to be paid, involving about 11,000 employers. The total amount of wage subsidies was about 6.27 billion yuan and the number of employees promised to be about 27 Million. In the fourth batch of the list, the first two to receive the most subsidies are Cathay Pacific and KMB. Together with catering, service and other companies, Cathay Pacific has received a total of more than 500 million yuan; KMB has received more than 324 million yuan.

government spokesman said that together with the first three batches of published employer lists, the secretariat has announced four batches of about 100,000 recipients since June 22 List of employers and related information on wage subsidies. In addition, the fifth batch of approximately 9,000 employers who successfully applied for the payment of wage subsidies began today. The amount of subsidies involved is about 4.1 billion yuan, and the number of paid employees is about 190,000. In other words, there have been five batches of about 110,000 employers receiving wage subsidies, covering about 1.3 million employees, involving wage subsidies of about 29.5 billion yuan.

In the fourth batch of lists, many large enterprises made the list. Its China Thai Airways Co., Ltd. received about 458 million and promised 17,703 paid employees. In addition, Cathay Pacific Catering Services (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. also received about 43 million yuan. It promised 1,590 paid employees and Cathay Pacific Service Co., Ltd. received a contract 17 million yuan, 646 employees promised to be paid, in other words, Cathay Pacific received at least 519 million yuan subsidies. In addition, Dragonair, a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways, also received about 69 million, with 2,581 salaried employees.
