The green and intriguing front of the Go Noodles branch in Ibn Gvirol in Tel Aviv attracts a lot of attention. The foyer, neatly designed, has three wings arranged in an H-shape.

One side - the Corona customer service department with alcohol, wipes and other cleaning and disinfecting accessories. Opposite, three large screens display an inviting, accessible and very easy-to-operate digital menu while the center panel boasts a wall of transparent lockers awaiting orders. Through the cabin windows you can overlook the kitchen which is run efficiently and with exemplary cleanliness.

When the order is ready for collection, a message is received on the mobile phone with a secret, personal code for single use. This way the invitation can be collected quickly and without social interaction.

Those who strive for maximum use of time are welcome to order through the app and leave the branch only after receiving the collection code. Thus, through screens and keys you can order the best dishes of the chain and even upgrade and change very easily with the help of the menu adapted to every culinary whim and a variety of restrictive diets such as vegan and gluten-free.

The Malaysian dish - tofu, chicken, Malaysian curry in coconut milk, green beans, green onions, coriander, crispy onions, brown hard-boiled egg and hot chili rings

Green curry - tofu / chicken, green curry in coconut milk, green beans, basil, spinach, bokchoi, coriander, green onions and broccoli

Pad Shawxing - Rice noodles with champignon mushrooms, red beans, bokchoi, green beans, green onions, chili rings and ginger sautéed in shawxing sauce

Larb Wonder - a spicy Thai salad with bean noodles, chunks of crispy fish, scallions, red onions, coriander and hot chili rings.

Sounds futuristic? Well, this is such a relevant venture that it's surprising that Go Noodles started working on this optimization program a year ago, long before the corona became a way of life.

The initial thought of smart design comes from economic efficiency, with significant cost reductions being the line that guided network owners. The many changes that the restaurant industry is undergoing have led Shmulik Gal, one of the owners of Go Noodles and his partners, to think about reducing the workforce and real estate space. The result - restaurants in the days of Corona.

Will this be the future? It is too early to determine, but it can certainly be said that there is a creative, up-to-date and very relevant solution to this.
