Miami Dade County in Miami, Florida is considered the epicenter of covid-19 with more than 64,000 infections and 2,000 hospitalized patients. Jackson Health Hospital in Miami has nearly 200 of its covid-19-infected employees and 1,887 center workers have had symptoms or been directly exposed to the virus, for an internal positivity rate of 23%.
